About Department



Department of Basic Sciences and Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur, established in 2016. It is currently headed by Dr. Charu Goel. 


The department envisages to become a state-of-the-art department with high quality education and cutting edge interdisciplinary research in science. It acts as foundation for all the core engineering branches and offers courses in Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Humanities and Environmental Studies. The department continuously put the valuable efforts to provide the students latest state-of-the-art curriculum. This unique course blends the best of contemporary Basic Sciences and Engineering to create professionals who are equally comfortable with both science and technology.
