Research Project

• Design of Nearly Linear Phase Infinite Impulse Response Filters using Evolutionary Techniques: In the research work, a new design approach for an Infinite Impulse Response filter is developed for getting optimal filter response with linear phase and reduce resource requirement. In this work a fractional order constraint-based problem is constructed and its validation has been exhaustively analysed. The designed IIR filter using proposed method is applicable in various scientific applications of like, filtering of control signals in automation applications, removal of noise from bio-medical signals introduced due to analog to digital conversion and other factors
